This Privacy Policy explains what Knowlense collects, why it is collected, how it is used, and how it is shared when you use the website, dashboard, browser extension, and paid billing workflows.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Knowlense collects, uses, and protects information when you use the website, dashboard, and browser extension. It does not cover third-party websites, payment pages, or browser stores that operate independently of Knowlense.

2. Data we collect

  • Account informationEmail address, authentication identifiers, sign-in provider details, and account status.
  • Extension connection dataConnected browser sessions, device labels, and connection timestamps used to manage secure access.
  • Product analysis inputsWhen you run SEO Health, Keyword Opportunities, or AI Rewrite, the extension reads the listing data visible on the TPT product page (such as title, description, subjects, tags, and related metadata) to generate results.
  • Usage and diagnostic dataFeature usage, request timestamps, and basic logs used to monitor reliability and prevent abuse.
  • Support communicationsMessages and details you provide when requesting support.
  • Billing referencesSubscription status, plan identifiers, and transaction references required to manage Premium access. Payment details are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record.

3. How we use data

  • Deliver the serviceAuthenticate accounts, connect the extension, and provide the SEO features you request.
  • Manage plans and accessEnable trials, upgrades, renewals, and account status for Free and Premium plans.
  • Protect KnowlenseDetect misuse, investigate suspicious activity, and enforce security controls.

4. Limited use of browsing data

The extension accesses data from the TPT listing page you are actively viewing only to provide the requested SEO analysis and AI Rewrite features. Knowlense does not collect or transmit browsing activity for advertising or unrelated purposes. We follow the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, and transmit data over secure connections (HTTPS/WSS). If a future feature needs data beyond what is required for the user-facing functionality, we will provide in-product disclosure and request consent before collecting it.

5. Payments and Merchant of Record

Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for paid subscriptions. Paddle processes payment details and tax information and provides us with the subscription and transaction references needed to deliver Premium access. We do not store full payment card details on Knowlense infrastructure.

6. Service providers

We use trusted providers to operate Knowlense:

  • SupabaseAuthentication, account sessions, and identity management.
  • CloudflareWebsite delivery, Workers infrastructure, and storage.
  • PaddleMerchant of Record, payment processing, tax handling, and refunds.
  • ResendTransactional email delivery.

7. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. Extension session data is stored in your browser's extension storage. You can clear local storage in your browser or extension settings.

8. Data retention

We retain data for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain subscriptions, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. You can request account deletion at any time.

9. Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security, and users remain responsible for protecting their devices and credentials.

10. Your rights and choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data by contacting support@knowlense.com. We review requests according to applicable law.

11. International processing

Your information may be processed in countries where we or our providers operate. We apply safeguards required by applicable law.

12. Children's privacy

Knowlense is intended for business and professional users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
